Join local author and founder of Mindful Presence Christine O’Shaughnessey for this valuable 90 minute workshop where participants will be introduced to ways of needs-based communication. We are each responsible for our actions and our reactions, and what we feel is a function of our needs. Taking responsibility for your own reactions means training the mind to trace emotions back to the needs from which the emotions arise. This creates emotional agility and a greater understanding of why we respond in habitual ways. This session will include active practices to learn how to identify your needs, ultimately leading to better communication and finding solutions that work.
